I started the morning of Rachel & Sean’s wedding day dropping my car off at Sean’s parent’s house. It was the cutest house tucked away in Oakmont. I made my way around back to their stunning back yard that had the sweetest touches. Rachel’s father Chris picked me up and took me to Rachel’s childhood home where her and her girls were getting ready.
The Kazar home instantly injected me with the most charm and character. It was the perfect place for Rachel to get ready at. This made the morning extra special & extra nostalgic. Bridal prep is one of my favorite times of a wedding day! Not only is it total girl talk time, but it helps me get to know the bridesmaids and their relationships with the bride. Rachel & her girls got together before the wedding and practiced their makeup by sharing tips and tricks. This made the morning even more special when Rachel helped her mom with a little makeup.
I rode to the Chadwick with Rachel, her sister, mom and bridesmaids. It’s always amazing to be able to plan out the day where I get to ride over with the ladies in the limo. The build up of emotion during that time makes for some really genuine and sweet moments. Unfortunately for Rachel the sweet moments quickly turned to motion sickness. However, it was nothing a quick puke and rally couldn’t fix upon arrival, and how flawless she still looked doing so couldn’t be forgotten.
The guys pulled up all packed in one car. Like a literal clown car, more guys just kept hoping out. This included Sean’s father! Sean was cool, calm and collected and just so excited to see his girl. Rachel was all smiles putting on her wedding dress. It seriously fit LIKE A GLOVE!!
Rachel & Sean did not want to do a first look, instead, Rachel did a first look with her father. Rachel’s mom & sister Emily accompanied her to see her father as cousin Steph was on train duty.
The moment the doors opened and Rachel stepped out from behind them with her father, Sean didn’t take his eyes off of her...ALL NIGHT LONG. I’m not kidding. These two were hand in hand all night long and the way they just looked at each other was #marriedgoals.
After the ceremony, the bridal party and parents gathered in a back room to enjoy some hors d'oeuvres and champagne. Rocco (my awesome second shooter) & I hung around and captured some of those in between moments. We witnessed something so sweet. For about 5 straight minutes these two just stood in the middle of the room with their arms around each other talking & laughing.... as if no one else were there. We knew we were loosing some portrait time but this was just so refreshing and genuine to witness. This meant more.
These 2 & their wedding party knocked portraits out in record time! And we got a ton of family photos!
Rachel & Sean’s friends and family (although kept real small) were all so amazing! The masks didn’t keep their guests from getting down and having fun ... & the fun only continued later at the after party held at Sean’s parents! The lights were twinkling, cigars puffing, & alcohol flowing. & we can’t forget Rachel & Sean’s fur son Tex who made his appearance in their engagement session! Tex was very dapper that evening especially though in his tux & was the most excited to congratulate his humans with the biggest kisses and tail wags.
Congratulations Provenza’s!! Coming up now almost at 2 months as husband and wife, I hope you never forget this day! It was a beautiful wedding with an even more beautiful couple. Covid, ya couldn’t stop these 2, love always wins.
